Jack O Lantern Burgers

These super cute Jack-O-Lantern Burgers are the perfect recipe to make for dinner any night in October! You won't believe how quick and easy they are. A great way to literally dress up your dinner!


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack of burger buns

  • 1-1/2 lb minced meat

  • 1 pack of cheese slices

  • 1-1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1-1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

  • Hamburger toppings of your choice

METHOD 

1. Preheat your BBQ grill to 375 F/190 C

2. Using a sharp knife cut a Jack-O-Lantern face out of the cheese slices. For extra precision try our quality Kai or Wüsthof knives.

3. In a large bowl, combine the beef, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands to combine.

4. Divide the meat into quarters. Take one quarter and press into the shape of a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the middle of the patty to prevent bulging during cooking. Repeat with the rest of the meat.

5. Place the burgers on the grill, cooking 4-5 minutes on each side until burgers have reached the desired doneness from the heat. For easy flipping check out our range of turners and flippers!

6. Put the cheese on top of the burger, allowing it to melt slightly. Serve open-faced on the buns, so everyone can enjoy their burger’s fangtastic faces. For further decoration, decorate the inside of the top part of the bun to look like a spider’s web using ketchup and mustard!
