INGREDIENTS

  • 4 steaks preferably about 2.5 cm thick

  • 2 cloves garlic minced or pressed

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Freshly ground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Trim excess fat from the steaks.

  2. In a heavy, zip-lock bag combine the remaining ingredients.

  3. Marinate the steaks for 1 hour at room temperature or up to 4 hours in the fridge.

  4. If refrigerating, make sure to bring the steaks close to room temperature 30 minutes before grilling.

  5. Preheat the barbecue on high and brush grids with olive oil.

  6. Cook your steak to your favourite doneness.
